naim_yazbeck Posted yesterday at 10:48 AM Posted yesterday at 10:48 AM Firstly, happy new year everyone. Should we expect better availability for CC in 2026 or we will continue the same movie? I will be visiting Madrid for couple of days, and will visit couple of places to check the stock.Anyone seeing any change? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
lb.cigars Posted yesterday at 11:38 AM Posted yesterday at 11:38 AM If there is any change, I think it will be for the worse. Between the already known difficulties in production and the changes in the political situation, it seems to me to be the most likely scenario.

Agreed completely. The potential collapse of the country, the issues with Chen Zhi, the pre-existing production issues. I can’t see this possibly getting any better and really don't see how it won’t get worse. 1

It's late and getting later, but if you do find anything in Madrid - and make sure it's from a legitimate vendor, preferably an LCDH - invest. Stock up. It's not going to get better and it very well could get significantly worse as Cuba's economic and political situation goes down the tubes. It *might* get better in ten or twenty years, maybe even sooner depending on how things move on the world stage, but next year is almost certainly going to be a bloodbath. Be prepared. And send up prayers to whatever deities you venerate for the people of Cuba.
Salomones Posted yesterday at 05:09 PM Posted yesterday at 05:09 PM Maybe they get more tobacco from other provinces. Otherwise, there is no possibility to get more quantity.
naim_yazbeck Posted yesterday at 05:45 PM Author Posted yesterday at 05:45 PM Just visited the 2 largest cigars shops in Madrid. Except for a couple of expensive Limited Editions and Trinidad, there is nothing. Shocking!

Wow, I was there end of May last year and there was still some stock, especially Rafael Gonzalez, but also Regionales and bigger vitolas. But bear in mind that there were probably no deliveries up until now because of Christmas. 1
Popular Post LizardGizmo Posted yesterday at 09:16 PM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 09:16 PM By almost every economic and productivity measurement, Cuba is down annually versus years previous. I don't see tobacco defying that over the next few years, especially with the manufacturing reliance on fuel and electricity - which we know is likely about to go from a daily nightmare to catastrophic. There is hope that other countries may step up to help with oil, but I doubt Trump and Rubio are going to let that happen easily. 5
Popular Post ATGroom Posted 15 hours ago Popular Post Posted 15 hours ago Production volume in 2025 was the highest since 2019 (2024 was the lowest). But that said, they are still down considerably from pre-COVID and demand has only increased since then, so I wouldn't exactly expect shelves to be overflowing anytime soon. 5 1

Even without 2026 being on fire, it's the 1st weekend after the long December holiday. But yeah, buy whatever you see that you want 'cos you may not see it again at that price.
