JohnS Posted November 18, 2025 Posted November 18, 2025 Two things. Firstly, the cigars cannot look like that after forty-odd years in a box as they would have signs of aging (like miniscule lines of plume, for instance), which these do not. Secondly, the band was a lighter colour in the 80's, something akin to the band below... 2

Namisgr11 Posted November 19, 2025 Posted November 19, 2025 The tips look highly irregular from cigar to cigar. And the labels look new. Finally, a few of them look to be box pressed. Popular Post JohnnyO Posted November 19, 2025 Popular Post Posted November 19, 2025 Up until 1989 the box should say "Hecho a Mano" not Hecho en Cuba, after that "Hecho Totalmente a Mano". Besides all the other cosmetic fugaziness mentioned above, all I see is bad quality and amateur happy hour. The box might be 40 years old, someone was just trying to recycle a copy. John 5
BrightonCorgi Posted November 19, 2025 Posted November 19, 2025 The box looks beaten up, but the seals look recent. I'd expect the cigars to have more spots or mineral traces on the wrapper. 3

John Box appears pretty beaten up but fine, John, and that ‘Hecho en Cuba’ branding would even fit an early 80s window. But I agree, a clear case of “box recycling”. Looks like quite some love went into that chinchal project practicing some figurado rolling 😅. 3 2
