El Presidente Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago This series to explore whether a particular cigar is humidor worthy. Cost these days is an issue for many so let's see if we can highlight some absolute standouts. This should particularly assist those new to the cigar world. To be fair, most of the cigars we have featured to date have scored exceptionally well. Surprisingly well! Scoring is: 1-3 (Poor) 4-6 (Average to good) 7-10 (very good to excellent) Use the Poll. You are more than free to comment away The Romeo y Julieta Mille Fleur is the "cheap and cheerful" choice for many. The "Swiss army knife" of cigars in that it is forever useful when you don't want to burn that premium stick or hand a premium stick out to someone who many not appreciate it. However, are we selling the Romeo y Julieta Mille Fleur short? Is it forever destined to be treated as a tier three cigar in the Habanos lineup?. Have you ever had a 93+ point Romeo y Julieta Mille fleur? Have your say!
Popular Post Fugu Posted 13 hours ago Popular Post Posted 13 hours ago Yep, perfectly sketched. One of the lower-tier, former MMs. Staple C&C in my rotation. Totally solid, reliable, affordable, no-frills cigar. Occasionally, you hit upon a gem. Current production is outshone by the numbered Romeos. Not because they were lacking but because the Tubos are truly on ‘roids right now. 5
cnov Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I've a box that are incredibly tight Mille Fleur, almost each and every one has been a chore but a couple have been incredibly good and made me understand the RyJ DNA. They gave me a tiny glimpse of that floral/Rosey character that I've since seen more boldly in the Ex 4. I'm surprised the character isn't more universally liked, RyJ in general gets a lot of stick. I've just had a Ninfa that has left me with a very RyJ-esque aftertaste, the sort that makes you think it'll be a shame to brush your teeth before bed. 4

That Nudies Ninfa uses a unique sweet leaf in it's make-up that certainly brings together the better aspects of R&J sweet berries and aged PL Montecarlo. We are playing around with how to utilise it in other vitolas. 7

The flavours are really good, and it is better still with a few years age. But the last box I bought was 70% plugged. If it wasn’t for the tight rolls I think I would buy these more often. 5
CaptainQuintero Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Since the Tres Petit Corona was deleted, these have mostly filled that spot, albeit not fully. As good as these can be the TPC was a premium stick. For what they are though, they're great. 3 1

Boss Hog Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Most of the ones I was gifted were lacklustre at best. You are definitely not going to find these in my humidor, no matter how affordable they are. 3
painfreefishing Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I find them very inconsistent. I have not had one that is unsmokeable but I have had very few gems as well. 3
Çnote Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I don't think one of these has broken 90 points for me, but I have enjoyed them enough to have a couple boxes deep in the humidor. No more inconsistent than any other CC, and quite consistent considering the availability as opposed to MC4/D4. 2
Li Bai Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Not a big fan, it's not that I totally dislike them, but I'd take a PLMC or a Super Partagas over one of these any time, plus they're even cheaper. 1
