What's up for the Weekend folks?  

 

Mum called Thursday and reminded me that back in January of this year I promised to take her to the cemetery today as it is apparently "All Saints Day" and traditionally when the entire planet goes and visits their deceased relatives. I, being an idiot politely told mum that I have no recollection of the request back in January, have never heard of this mass graveyard visitation ritual and that unfortunately I have unchangeable plans and two younger brothers. 

Resultant conversation went well and I am taking mum to the cemetery this morning. 

Caught up with PCC this week for dinner and I was presented with a Monte Slam (how they must hate me) for my unbiased review as it was sold to me as the Cuban cigar equivalent of Yquem. They know I have no love of Monte Opens but I will review the cigar this afternoon and give my honest opinion. I should of told them all those years ago how much I hated Reserva releases. 

Dinner with brother and sister-in-law tonight. Rib Roast at home. I will have to break it to him that our fledgling snail farm business has hit the wall on the back of tax office investigations. We may have to release the existing 200 head of snails (STAMPEDE!) into the wild. 

Sunday will give a sleep in a crack. Hangover likely so long walk, gym, shower, out for yumcha. I have a video review with Ken, then newspaper + another cigar, overnight rugby replays, live Tonga/New Zealand Rugby game, work week planning. Back into it.

Tonight is Halloween so pass out candy.

Saturday and Sunday are low key, my cold is done so cigar 'o' rama. Fab 5’s mostly.  

Love the first cigar after a ten day break.
