Hoosh Posted October 9, 2025 Posted October 9, 2025 You know I’m all in where there’s a San Andreas wrapper! Bring on that Earth and spice! 3
VeguerosMAN Posted October 11, 2025 Posted October 11, 2025 This wrapper could replace current Cameroon wrapper in the Don Carlos line. I don't know whether Dominican filler and Mexican San Andreas wrapper could work though. 2
JohnS Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Interesting release. Halfwheel just released a review giving this cigar 92 points out of 100. https://halfwheel.com/arturo-fuente-don-carlos-sangre-de-toro-undefeated/464168/ 2
loose_axle Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I'd be interested to try it though I find the Magnum R line from AF the best value for money and flavour for me. That Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper, absolutely delicious. 2
cigaraholic Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Advertising sure does pay when it comes to cigar review scores.

I just got a giggle from a review that was basically pepper, pepper, and more pepper with chalk, a touch of cream and earth gets a 92.

Post it up and perhaps @BrooksW or @charlieminato will comment. Not sure if Patrick is on this board.
Hoosh Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I was deeply disappointed with this cigar. So much was made of the MSA wrapper being an AF “first,” and after smoking two of the three I had, I felt like they completely forgot about the wrapper. Sure, peppery at first, but that went away pretty quickly on both cigars. What I was left with was a Don Carlos wanna-be that was half as good, but almost twice as expensive (not at MSRP, but at what the shops are selling them for). Meh. I also smoked the #2, not the Undefeated. 1 3

I am happy to help any way I can, but we have a policy not to comment on other reviewers' reviews that are published on the website. 1 1

As a big AF fan, I find most of the originals are always the best variation of AF. After all the Opus’ that have been released, I find myself still reaching for the original. Same with the Don Carlos line, I would put Don Carlos No. 2 or even shark against any other cigar; so so delicious.
