This wrapper could replace current Cameroon wrapper in the Don Carlos line. I don't know whether Dominican filler and Mexican San Andreas wrapper could work though.

I'd be interested to try it though I find the Magnum R line from AF the best value for money and flavour for me. That Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper, absolutely delicious.

Advertising sure does pay when it comes to cigar review scores.

This has been said without much correlation with regards to Shanken's Cigar Aficionado, but Halfwheel is pretty serious about fair and unbiased reviews.

I just got a giggle from a review that was basically pepper, pepper, and more pepper with chalk, a touch of cream and earth gets a 92.

Post it up and perhaps @BrooksW or @charlieminato will comment. Not sure if Patrick is on this board.

I was deeply disappointed with this cigar. So much was made of the MSA wrapper being an AF “first,” and after smoking two of the three I had, I felt like they completely forgot about the wrapper. Sure, peppery at first, but that went away pretty quickly on both cigars. What I was left with was a Don Carlos wanna-be that was half as good, but almost twice as expensive (not at MSRP, but at what the shops are selling them for). Meh. I also smoked the #2, not the Undefeated.

I am happy to help any way I can, but we have a policy not to comment on other reviewers' reviews that are published on the website.

That is very disappointing. I also have 3 of these in my humidor but have not tried any yet. As a big AF fan, I find most of the originals are always the best variation of AF. After all the Opus’ that have been released, I find myself still reaching for the original. Same with the Don Carlos line, I would put Don Carlos No. 2 or even shark against any other cigar; so so delicious.
