I was just reading some reviews for Hainan Airways, who I will being using for the first time this year. I have to say @Ken Gargett, it's almost spooky how much this reviewer is trying to impersonate you.

"Words cannot describe how badly this airline traumatized me. The trip started out with us sitting on the runway for an hour with no air conditioning in +45 degree Dubai heat. Everyone was dripping sweat and on the verge of fainting, and the stench from everyone’s sweaty body odor was so revolting that I almost vomited multiple times. They had ZERO professionalism (allowed everyone to play on their gadgets full blast without headphones), and didn’t even serve us drinks with our meals (the drinks came way later even with how parched we were from the runway torture). To make matters worse, the plane looked like it was from the 1970s with the wings ready to snap off and they served us what looked like cold and slimy chicken feet for the meals. I will be reporting them to the Australian Government and everyone else should report them to their countries authorities too so that we can take them down. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!"

Tiger is a decent beer in that climate.

tiger is a very decent beer. it was truly the most, indeed, the only good thing about the meal.

@Ken Gargett as a seasoned traveller, why didn't you walk 500m in any direction, find what the locals call a coffee shop or a hawker centre, with manifest local clientele (most of whom will indeed be drinking Tiger) and get yourself a decent meal?  You're just trolling now.

i'd just flown in from a 13 1/2 hour flight, bugger all sleep. then spent ages organising luggage storage. then into town. so it was straight to bed or try this place. i did want a little bite so in i went. also, this was a part of Singapore with which i was not particularly familiar so i really did not want to go wandering around with no guarantee i'd find anything better, especially as i did not know it was as bad as it was (yes, the warning from the receptionist but it was way worse).
