ptsmith109 Posted September 5, 2025 Posted September 5, 2025 Anybody have any recommendations on a decent place to do some private label cigars? I’m wanting to make some for my home bar that I can give out as gifts. I’ve done a little bit of research, but I figured I would lean into the expertise here to see if anybody had any good recommendations. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Çnote Posted September 5, 2025 Posted September 5, 2025 How many cigars? Where are you located? Do you want to blend from scratch or just have your own band? Lots of cats to skin. .
ptsmith109 Posted September 5, 2025 Author Posted September 5, 2025 USA. Right now looking for a small run. Maybe 100. Not really caring about blending from scratch with such a small run... wanting to see how well they go over first. I know some boutique operations work with orders that small. If I need to go bigger I can, but at this point I know I don't know enough to know everything I don't know.
Dr vonPuffenberg Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 These guys have a booth at the farmers market in my mom’s town in Florida. I’ve had mixed results but really enjoy their “habano premium” blend although I think they call it something else now. They have a “choose your own wrapper” option on their website that might work for you. egcigars.com 1
Wookie Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 Wouldn't you be better off buying some un-banded overruns and make up some of your own bands? That way you get a known, quality product. 2

BrightonCorgi Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 Just go with something from Fabrica5. Put your own bands on them. Not sure what order minimums are for boxes, ribbons, etc... 1
zacca Posted September 6, 2025 Posted September 6, 2025 Without speaking speaking for @El Presidente but Nudies and MOFOHs don’t have bands, and they sell samplers, so you could start off with a variety and narrow it down to what you like. Design your own bands and slap them on.

Have your own bands printed locally. Next level is having someting blended with you being part of the process. Minimum run I entertain is 1500 cigars as that is one buncher/roller team dedicated to that one production for one week. That way you get a higher level of consistency/QC. Fabricas like to be kept busy and you want to have your team on consistent production runs. You want to set up a team for a week/month producing the same cigar as opposed to chopping and changing. I am sure that makes sense. Alternative. There are plenty of stores in the US who have onsite rollers. There was a thread with one in New Orleans the other day. Touch base with them for 100/200/300 sticks and they would love the work. Tell them what you would like "Robusto, medium bodied, colorado maduro, sweet and spicy". They will go out the back, pull out what they have and ship. All good 2 1 1
