El Presidente Posted Tuesday at 10:08 AM Posted Tuesday at 10:08 AM ChatGPT4/Gemini/Claude/Others. I am quickly reaching the limits of the ChatGPT $20 a month account. Next step up is $200 month. I am happy to sleep around ....digitally.......so more than happy to give others a trial. My useage is heavy text and image generation based. What would be your recommendations? What has been your experience in using the various platforms? Which one do you use? Let's kick it around. Edumacate/enlighten
griller Posted Tuesday at 11:08 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:08 AM I have the $200/month ChatGPT subscription & truthfully don't get full value for the cost but am satisfied enough to stay with that user level. My use cases are more research based along with professional/business for proposal creations, etc. It is also great if you own a Japanese-market SUV (own a 1993 Nissan Safari with TB42E engine; sold as the Patrol in other countries) and live in the USA and occasionally have to source replacement part from Japan, UAE, or Australia. I've uploaded the maintenance manual in a Projects folder & can chat with it to get part #s, etc. Since you're looking outside of ChatGPT, I'd give a strong look at the $20/month Gemini subscription. I use mine all the time & it's insanely good for image generation for the cost. I also use NotebookLM regularly and am amazed at the number of use cases this utility can serve. I'm less versed on Gemini's reputation when it comes to heavy text but these LLMs are evolving so rapidly I'd be surprised it's Gemini isn't consider a top option in this arena, too. Best of luck! 1 1
Namisgr11 Posted Tuesday at 12:08 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:08 PM Have any of them learned to properly render human hands yet? 2
MrBirdman Posted Tuesday at 05:15 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:15 PM SiderAI has a cheaper tier that gives you similar results with nearly unlimited usage. Also give you access to other models so you can try them out. But I don’t know if the do image generation.

Couple of hands in here too 😁 Chatgpt has hands sorted lol Anyone use Perplexity? I don't have any subscriptions though.
yuppie Posted Wednesday at 12:11 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:11 AM I use AI mainly for software development at the moment. Haven't used too much image generation or general essay/text, etc. I've been a big fan of Claude4, but Gemini 2.5 has been getting better and better on Cursor.com. Pretty sure the "best" is going to be subjective and at the same time it'll change on a week by week basis as they all out-compete one another. 2
jaydenx Posted Wednesday at 12:32 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:32 AM Maybe try Spider ai for only 20$ for monthly pay and you could try with a different mode. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
