We traded Singer for India and so far not panning out for us!

It does appear to be a lopsided trade at this point. India was well loved by Cincinnati fans, but always had trouble staying healthy.

After being used/shunned by Ohtani and Soto. The Jays finally turned inward and signed a guy who wants to be here. IMO they should have done this years ago. Maybe would saved them $100-$200M. Time wil

Long suffering Reds fan here. Old enough to remember watching the Big Red Machine from the 70's.

Here we go!

Singer was popular here, but the Royals wanted a solid leadoff hitter and so far India is batting .200 and Brady is 4-0.

He really did have fantastic rookie year, 4.1 WAR. He hasn't been able to repeat that first season though.

I've been enjoying the carry over from late last year for my Detroit Tigers! Hoping that the pitching keeps up and the bats stay hot!

Poor Verlander can't get a win.

Yep. They are staying hot for sure...hopefully the AL Central can get three teams in post season again this year

A Baseball season is a marathon rather than a sprint, right? The the teams at the end are not always the teams at the start. Oh, the joys and pitfalls of being a fan!

The 3 best records in baseball are all in the NL West. Crazy. Fun to watch so far. The Dodgers busted out on the Snell deal so I feel we dodged ( pun intended) a bullet there. Problem with L.A. is,they have all star after all star after all star. The Padres look like the team they have supposed to have been the last few years. Dbacks are cooled off a bit hovering around .500. The Rockies.  Well...

Oh. How about those Giants!!

KC on a hot streak-Red Sox coming to town on Friday @MoeFOH

Yikes. The way we're going you'll sweep us. We're under .500 again now 🤦‍♂️ and have had one of the easiest schedules in baseball to start the season. The only potential saving grace is that the Yankees aren't much better and we're still only 2.5 games back.

Losing too many 1-run games and games we should have won easily. So far...classic Red Sox. Lol.

We need to grab at least one of the last two in this current series with Texas or things are looking bleak. I know it's still early days, but I hate how this is feeling.

Maybe we should ask Raffy to play 1st base more often :D

Seemed ominous when we dropped the 1st game but turned out a good series for the Sox.

Eovaldi looks like the best pitcher in baseball right now.

It’s great to see Josh Smith get so much time, too. I became a big fan of his back in that 2023 season, for his speed and versatility. Many friends of mine dismissed him as ineffective, but I could see great skills there. Last year he had lots of time to show it, too. Right now, he is one of the best utility guys in the game, and hitting homers! Love to see that.

@JohnS - Mets v Red Sox. Good luck, my friend. And if you have any spare, send it our way - we're gonna need it. :D

Baseball seasons have ebbs and flows, as we all know. Right now, the Mets are playing like a .500 team because a few of their relief pitchers are out injured and their key bats have been quiet of late.

The Red Sox are at home too so don't undersell yourself there, @MoeFOH!

The key is how each team rides the waves and finishes going into September. Traditionally, teams that are in good form going into the postseason usually follow through with a good October also.

@Ford2112 your SFGs are catching the Royals at a good time-We went 17-3 in a twenty game stretch but are now in a slump. As @JohnS says...its just the ebbs and flows of a 162 game season!

Great pitcher tonight on KC. Had a NoNo into the 6th. Our offense never got going. Giants are in the top of our division. Of course so are the Padres and the Dodgers. 😆

Bubic has pitched well this year. Very surprising considering past performances.
