Okay, many fish have teeth. But some have TEETH. Most anglers know to watch out for barracuda. They will take your catch--or you. Fewer may know about the Vaquita, or cowfish. But their teeth are just way too...human. Just some of the interesting fish one finds on the Cuban flats.

fish have seriously sharp teeth over there. this was from my very last cast last time i was fishing i Cuba. great fun. took off over the horizon. when i finally got it back, my guide got in the water to get hold of it and the thing took one look at the guide's wedding tackle, which was about level with it, and made a beeline. guide yelling blue murder and i am desperately trying to get it to head around to slightly safer waters. guide remains intact.
