I’ve been looking at the Raching MON5800 and want to hear from anyone and everyone if they have any experience with them? Or do you have a better option out there? Love to hear what y’all think!!!

Have the mon60. Much smaller but past 1.5 years has held perfect temp and humidity. It is completely full, have about 550 in at as it says holds 500. No room to order more, but that could be a good thing.

I've had the Afidano Series C 1400 count for about a year now. So far, so good. Classy look. Keeps temperature and humidity perfectly. Easy to add water. Beeps when it needs water, or if there's too much water. Great phone app. I also have a NewAir. Afidano is much, much better.

Does anyone have experience with the Needone 48L? I've read electric humidors can have water/humidification problems, so I'm considering getting a simplified one that relies on Boveda packs.

While I don't have a needone, I do have a setup that includes one of the larger Audew units (forget the exact size). Really wanted it to work but ultimately ended up having to unplug the unit and use it as a glorified coolerdor. Took out all the shelving (due to needing the space) and am just using large boveda to get the trick done.

The issue with all of these types of humidors is that when the fan kicks on for cooling it is kicking in outside air. This throws the whole thing whacky. In my case it would cause huge humidity spikes. I've also heard horror stories of the fans running so frequently that consensation would build up on some boxes causing mold issues.

I've been using mine for about 4 years now with good results since I've kept it unplugged. If I had to do it over again, I would probably just buy another large tupper.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I've been researching many brands and the horror stories are keeping me from getting one. I currently have a 200 capacity wooden humidor and a few tupperware with boveda packs. They work great for the most part, but would love to get the temperature down a few more degrees during the summer.

I had a Newair that I unplugged and put boveda and beads in it to maintain humidity. Honestly it was a hassle. I will probably try a Raching at some point . They are pricey but have a decent track record from what I see.

I have one of these that's been great for the past 2+ years. It's the cooling-only model. No heating or Humidity control. I use 3X Boveda 320Gram packs and it holds consistent RH numbers.

The climate here in Phoenix AZ/my office may have something to do with how well it works.
