Marvelous Marvin ran by my bus stop a few times, taped up. He used to stay at the Sea Crest which was a mile from my house. The term 'pound-for-pound' came into existence to give credence to the possibility that boxers who aren't heavyweights could have claim to being the best, historically. After all, the heavyweight divisions have dominated the attention of the boxing world in modern times. It's good, therefore, to see fighters from lighter weight divisions mentioned here. 2
westg Posted November 19, 2024 Author Posted November 19, 2024 You want to see boxing, two boxers boxing. Watch the sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns fights especially the second one. Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler now that was a fight. Opinions wildly divided on the outcome of both fights. Good viewing with a cigar. Would love to hear people's thoughts on who won those two fights. 1
VeguerosMAN Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Holyfield is the most underrated Heavyweight of ALL TIME 1
