Hammer Smokin' Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 RIP Phil As a lifelong Grateful Dead fan, this one really hurts. Been 29 years since we last felt this pain. I know we have a few old heads around here. This one hurts. '86 Hampton Box of Rain for everyone tonight. 2 6

El Hoze Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 We had Pride of Cucamonga playing last night in the Hoze house. When Jerry died my friends all gathered like we had lost our leader which back in those days wasn’t far off. RIP Phil, thanks for the fine licks. 2

Wookie Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 After a 1988 or 89 dead show in Chicago we were hanging out at Kingston Mines…when who should appear but Lesch and Kreutzman. We invited them to join our table and drink with us and they stayed for 2 hours. Great night. 1
