 As part of the celebrations, the company collaborated with Habanos S.A., something it is increasingly doing more of these days. Most of the times, these collaborations follow a simple formula: S.T. Dupont creates special colorways of its accessories that feature popular Cuban cigar brands like Cohiba or Trinidad. But for S.T. Dupont’s 150th anniversary, the collaboration was much more involved

The more I see these glossy boxes in walk in humidors, the more I just want to get a baseball bat out, and smash them to bits. There was something so nice about just a wall of cedar branded SLB's, nothing immediately obvious, having a hunt around, and uncovering hidden gems.

I love that box, but I wouldn't want it for a cigar box. If that makes sense? 

It's like wanting a wine bottle with a full Starry Night painted on the outside.

But I can see it appealing to those who want art and storage. It's a lot nicer to look at than the Habanos book humidor to my eyes.

In fact...maybe it's purely the price that's making my decision, if that design was the same price as a regular production dress box etc, then I'd love a desktop humi/varnished can with that design.

That box was available in Andorra a couple months back for 28500 euros iirc.
