(It) Has been quite consistent for me over the last few years...certainly since the advent of COVID in 2020. Thanks for the review!

It is a tasty cigar, and the paprika/cream is sublime. The choice of Arnold. Wish I had bought about 20 boxes when they were 200 a pop.

Yup, same. Feels like I missed a trick when they were that price.

Definitely one of my favorite dailies, alongside the D5. They’re hard to beat, and relatively affordable even these days!

I heard @El Presidente say they were underpriced at $8 a stick and I tend to agree. At current prices - it’s probably top of the tree in that $20-$25 robusto price range.

I'm always surprised with all the praises this D4 receives on here, to the point I've begun to wonder if we don't get the same sticks as you all here in France. Among the French cigar community its reputation has fallen down over the years.

Let me get this straight, I love Partagas and I've had magnificent D4s over the last 5 years but so many poorly constructed and underfilled ones I don't even have a single left in my cabinet.

I have almost given up on them as my BRCs, RASS and Epi 2s scratch the robusto itch for me but I'll give these another shot 🤔

Exactly why I don't see them being a $25 cigar.

Goes to show how much variance exists with Cuban cigars. They’ve probably been the most reliable smoke for me over past decade. And my boxes from 2019 onwards have been better than anything in the years prior - just richer flavours.

My experience has been similar. I smoked through 6 D4s before finding a good one. Plugged cigars and fire-proof wrappers were the consistent issues. It has the worst "reliability" track record of any CC in my experience.

I can see I'm not the only one 🤔

I have found 2014 and prior to be much better. Had two ten ct boxes from 19 and 20 with only four from those boxes on the good side. I would like to think its just my palate changing over the years. Used to be a favorite and staple in my cabinet
