MORE THAN TWO DECADES OF EXCELLENCE: HABANOS AND ITS EXCLUSIVE LIMITED EDITIONS

Havana, June 12,   It hasbeen 24 years since the first Limited Editions of Habanos were presented to the market: Hoyo de Monterrey Particulares, Montecristo Robustos, Partagás Pirámides and Romeo y Julieta Exhibition No. 2.   The differentiation and prestige of these launches come not only from the design of their packaging, but also from the exclusivity of the Habanos they contain. Habanos Limited Editions are produced in small quantities, and in unusual or unique vitolas within the brand. In addition, they have a minimum aging of two years and both the crates and the Habano itself are identified with a ribbon where the Limited Edition appears and the year in which they were launched.   Today, after 68 Limited Editions under a total of 12 brands, these continue to be one of the most anticipated and appreciated specialties by fans and collectors of premium tobacco in the world.   The most emblematic brand of Habanos, S.A., Cohiba, has 7 Limited Editions marketed throughout its history, some of them icons for the brand such as: Cohiba Sublimes Limited Edition 2004, Cohiba 1966 Limited Edition 2016, Cohiba Talismán Limited Edition 2017 and the recently launched Cohiba 55th Anniversary in 2021. In the case of H. Upmann, the last Limited Edition was presented in 2018 with the H. Upmann Propio vitola, which stands out for being the only one in the medium-caliber Habanos vitola. For its part, Hoyo de Monterrey presented last year the Monterreyes No. 4 Limited Edition, the brand's seventh since the launch of the Epicure Especial vitola in 2004, which ended up becoming one of the reference vitolas within the Hoyo de Monterrey portfolio. In the case of Partagás, the launch of Partagás Legado Edición Limitada 2020 (Hermoso No. 2 hat vitola stands out ), which was presented in one of the most modern stadiums in Europe, the Wanda Metropolitano stadium in Madrid. Romeo y Julieta Capulets (ring gauge 53 x 153 mm long) is the latest Limited Edition within the brand's vitole collection, so appreciated all over the world. The latest, and most recent Limited Edition launch that was presented in London, corresponds to Habanos Bolívar, with its Regentes vitola, Limited Edition 2021, characterized by its strong strength and the rich nuances that distinguish the brand.   Among these 12 leading brands in the Limited Editions, Trinidad stands out, which precisely celebrates its 55th anniversary this year with the exclusive presentation of Trinidad Cabildos Limited Edition 2024 (Ring gauge 46 x 162 mm long) at the first face-to-face Habanos World Days in history, which will take place on June 22 in London.   An exclusive and unique vitola within the portfolio of the Trinidad brand – whose name pays tribute to the Villa de Santísima Trinidad, declared a Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 1988 – which has chosen the name "Cabildos" for this new launch, in homage to the wealth of the famous town and as a tribute to one of the first cabildos founded in Cuba during the colonial era.   Presented in a case designed exclusively for this launch, which has inside 12 Habanos that have been made "Totally by hand with Tripa Larga", after a careful selection of its leaves (Capa, Tripa and Capote) harvested by the best producers in the area of Vuelta Abajo*, in Pinar del Río*, Cuba*, where the best tobacco in the world is produced, in the region of Pinar del Río*, Cuba* and have been aged for at least 2 years.   In addition, this magnificent Habano incorporates, as usual, the additional ring distinguishing the Limited Edition and the year, and a foot ring designed in commemoration of the 55th anniversary with the highest quality standards and NFC technology as a security and communication measure.   This is not the only surprise prepared for this "Trinidad Year", as we will be able to discover at the next Habanos World Days that will take place from June 20 to 22 in London.   Brand: Trinidad Starting vitola: Cabildos Vitola de galera: Illustrious Measurements: 46 x 162 mm long Presentation: Special box of 12 units   *(D.O.P.) While I understand the sentiment of appreciating anyone who makes cigar content, it’s hard to respect someone acting as an unpaid shill for Habanos under the guise of making cigar content.

News to me. I thought the LEs were designed  to use thick, dark, poorly burning, and previously neglected leaf from the top of the tobacco plant.
