Decided to get some sun and smoked a JL1 outside. Down to 2 left after this and I wish I saved more!

1 - Worst light ever lol. My story is I was blinded by the sun so I couldn't see the flame and am lucky I didn't burn myself!  Starts off with a really smooth creamy smoke texture. No burn on the retro. Initially got a lot of cedar with a nuttiness. There is a light coffee note as well.

2 - Still getting a little cedar, but mostly a light creamy coffee. Hints of grass here and there, but otherwise it' just chugging along. My dumb light mistake is luckily gone by this point.

3 - No change. Not a bad thing, it burned perfectly and required no relights or touch-ups which is a blessing!

Overall 7/10 - This was a great cigar that I really enjoyed. May have been one of the best constructed CC's I've had! Flavors were straight forward and enjoyable.

According to our affable host, El Pres would call that burn a 'Ken Gargett lighting'. 😂

Thanks for the review! 👍

Love my JL2's - I'm with you; wish I'd bought a lot more.
