If we shouldn’t eat ultraprocessed foods, what should we eat instead?

As a Brit I was sad to see the UK alongside the US as the outliers. Interesting to see Australia then Germany in the next highest group, then France some way behind… and Italy (that food paradise) right down the bottom. This stuff is literally killing and disabling millions of people globally. It’s an absolute curse.

Life used to be about getting calories in. Fire made it easier to get nutrition but we lost some fat so lost calories. And it's now it's turned into avoid calories and fats.

We lost our way.
