Popular Post Ford2112 Posted April 21, 2024 Popular Post Posted April 21, 2024 I got some of these from a friend and have yet to be disappointed. This one was no different. I have no box code . I paired this with a spritzer made of sparkling apple cider and seltzer,an old stand by. Pretty Rosado wrapper on this one. Aroma at cold was sweet leather and a bit of cocoa. 1st third is all cocoa and cinnamon. Great aroma and tons of smoke output. Perfect draw ,a fair amount of resistance, and the ash is starting off great. Nice little stack of dimes! Just a bit under medium but rich flavored. 2nd third is a mix of twang, cocoa, and sweet spice. I wanna say it's around medium but the flavor is ramping up here and I get a bit of white pepper on the retro . This ash is perfect, burn perfect, draw and smoke perfect. At this point it's as good as could be expected from a cigar this young. I feel like I have to go deep on these when I can find them. Final. Well the cigar is struggling a little bit ,less smoke output and a bit hot. I touch it up at this point and slow my smoking down which improves the cigar. Nubbed it at 1/2 an inch. Look I normally prefer smaller ring gauges than 54,but these are just great smokes. They are complex and have some evolution and I feel like with a few years down they will be epic. Having changed my rating system thanks to @PigFish offhandedly giving me his blessing 😂,I will adopt his 6 point system "6.Excellent (superb, sublime... etc) 5.Great 4.Good (above average) 3.Average (my average could range to what experiences Ihave had lately) 2.Below average 1.Bad (dog rocket etc.)" I rate this a 5 simply because it showed a bit of it's youth. I will revisit these in 6 months time,by then I'll have a lot more resting 😁 10
