I'd go in on these, if I could afford it...Screenshot_20240401_164945_SamsungInternet.jpg.3ebcbaa21dfbf132d77058cb110e8fa0.jpg

Interesting choices considering the years. Isn't 98-01 notorious for being shite?

Yes, but there were also some fantastic cigars made in that period. I think Rob will attest to the quality of late 90s Party SdC. I don't think they had any performance issues in that period. I also don't recall hearing about many issues with late 90s LGC.

Also most of the complaints are tight draws on 47 RG or lower but we now have the PerfecDraw. The other complaints are in blend which I can attest to. The worst CCs I ever smoked were from 2000-2002. I recall Monte 4 and Hoyo Churchills that made me want to barf. 03 was a huge recovery for almost everything.

These are delicious cigars, sadly missed. I have a few left in my 2005 box - good as gold.

To me, it'd be this one here, my favorite of all time:

I think I would have to go with the 80’s Davidoff Tubos. They stand the best chance of having the most Davidoff flavor, since they have been kept in their tubes.
