Popular Post Fishey Posted January 15 Popular Post Posted January 15 This RASS is the one I posted about some time ago (the one with "plume"/mold that I was unsure if it was safe to smoke). The draw was very tight sadly, and it ruined a bit of the experience. The wrapper had a crack from the start and started to unravel very quickly unfortunately.. Prelight - smells like a barnyard. Not a fan of the smell to be honest. First third - flavor explosion!! Such a strong taste of cherry and/or raisin, very enjoyable! Retrohale is a bit rough but still good. Second third - here the wrapper almost unravelled completely and I could not enjoy the smoke since I had to focus so much on keeping the wrapper safe. The retro became too harsh to even try, and it was also harsh for the throat. The intense flavours went down a lot by now. Last third - flavours are good, still some sweetness in the background, mixed with a good tobacco taste. Harshness became unbearable. Conclusion - One thing I noticed was that it lacked the "Cuban twang" but it may just be my inexperience😅 The flavors where awesome, but unfortunately the young age became apparent, and was way too harsh for me to even finish it completely. And the unravelling made the experience lacking... Can't wait to try an older RASS, without any cracks, to fully enjoy it! 80/100. 6
eltoroosborne Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Bummer bud. Sorry to hear about your experience. It's a good stick. Look forward to hearing about your next experience. 1
SCgarman Posted January 15 Posted January 15 RASS is fantastic when well rolled (not plugged) and lighter colorado/claro wrappers. They were even good with as little as one year of box age. But the fact these are now $440/box, and still draw issues (tight or worse) really is an insult to the consumer. I will enjoy what RASS I have in my humidor, but will not pay current price out of principle.

Here in Sweden I can find a box for 3500 SEK which is around 340 USD, so the RASS is actually one of the cheaper ones here. But I agree, even with Swedish prices, draw issues should not be found that easy.
rascalmonkey Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Been in love with RASS with past 2-3 years +. If you want a perfect draw you have 2 choices, NC's or https://theperfecsmoke.com/products/perfecdraw®️
