jncasey Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Hello I'm admittedly a novice when it comes to cigars. Looking for size & shape recommendations on a Padron 1964 Anniversary Maduro. I've found many positive reviews on Diplomatico & Torpedo. Is it really just personal preference? Thanks! Jonathan
Vetteman Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 It is in my opinion. I find the taste and burn pretty consistent across the sizes, and my preferences are the Exclusivo and Principe. But I like smaller cigars. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk 3

The line is pretty consistent. 1
PuroDiario Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 I like Principe and Diplomático, the latter I think natural more than maduro as opposed to with the former. 1
Cigar Surgeon Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Principe criminally underrated IMO. Great size. 1
JohnS Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 I agree that Padrons tend to be consistent across their vitolas. I too don't favour one size over another.
SCgarman Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Currently have a box of 1964 Principe, but also enjoy a long/skinny. 1964 Superior 6 1/2 X 42 gauge. 3
Capn_Jackson Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 My favorite is the 1964 Hermoso, although I prefer the naturals over the Maduro. 1

jncasey Posted December 2, 2023 Author Posted December 2, 2023 Picked up a pair of Exclusivo Natural and Diplomatico Maduro. Interesting box shape. Trying out the Exclusivo Natural now with a glass of Eagle Rare. Very smooth and peppery. Are the 1964 Anniversary Series fairly easy to find at local shops or did I just get lucky?
