El Presidente Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 EAR= Email Assistance Required "10 years in my humidor and these Belicoso Finos are still bitter when smoking. I have had plenty of BBF before and after this box that have been excellent, but this box is doing my head in. Have your members ever seen a dud box come good after a decade? "
Glass Half Full Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 Can’t say I’ve had a bum box — due to construction— turn good with time. That said, my experiences with bitterness are usually that they’re due to a humidity problem (too much humidity), in case that helps. 1
HarveyBoulevard Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 I have a bad box or two in my time but I've never had one turn around after a decade. 1
JohnS Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 I have had young boxes change, much later down-the-track, in terms of body and strength (and improved) but I wouldn't go so far as saying that a consistently 'dud' box has done so.
NSXCIGAR Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 After 10 years it's a bust. Give them or trade them to someone who might like them more than you do.
MadMax Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 The last great box of BBFs I had was MUR SEP 12. IMO, every box I've had since has been bland!
