Can’t say I’ve had a bum box — due to construction— turn good with time.  That said, my experiences with bitterness are usually that they’re due to a humidity problem (too much humidity), in case that helps.

I have a bad box or two in my time but I've never had one turn around after a decade.

I have had young boxes change, much later down-the-track, in terms of body and strength (and improved) but I wouldn't go so far as saying that a consistently 'dud' box has done so.

After 10 years it's a bust. Give them or trade them to someone who might like them more than you do.

The last great box of BBFs I had was MUR SEP 12. IMO, every box I've had since has been bland!
