I had little time to smoke a cigar last night so I picked this 2021 Half Corona out of my dry box to smoke. I have been smoking the nudies the past few weeks and I decided to have a change of pace to smoke a CC tonight. The wrapper was gorgeous and the smell was very nice.
I clipped this cigar and the draw was perfect and a nice tobacco with a touch of honey to it.
The first 3rd was flavors of chocolate, caramel and coffee with a taste of shortbread with a medium strength.
The 2nd third continued with the shortbread and the chocolate and caramel was diminishing with a nice toasted tobacco taste. The strength was still medium.
The final third ( I am not used to smoking. This short of a cigar) happened quickly with a slight sweet licorice and shortbread taste with a bit of leather and earthiness to it.
i nubbed it and the smoke lasted about 35 minutes, which was perfect timing in that I had such little time to smoke. The strength did not increase and it was medium throughout the smoking of this little gem.  The burn was perfect and there were no touch ups or relights.
I would rate it a 92 for this 2 1/2 years aged cigar.
