Yikes!  I guess that's not normal?

Not to be selfish but I'm going to HK in a month - think it'll be cleaned up by then?  Is the flooding all over or mostly just affecting a certain town?

It's spread across all areas of HKG at present. Some worse than others. As to it being cleared up within a month, I don't see it being a problem in the main areas.

On Thursday, authorities issued the black warning due to rainfall exceeding 70mm an hour. The Hong Kong Observatory later that night reported an hourly rainfall of 158.1 millimetres, the highest since records began in 1884.
