I'm passing through HK for a few nights onwards to Kuala Lumpur for a family wedding.

Will have cigars with me to pass to friends in KL.

Any opine on entering HK with these?Quantity between 20-30.

Will be travelling as a family unit.

Agree, you'll be very unlucky to be stopped as normally the customs are pretty relaxed on searches.  If you are really worried split the cigars between the family members as technically the allowance is 1 cigar but as Chucko8 mentioned you'll be fine. We regularly travel back and forth with 20+ in luggage

Go hog wild on the hawker food while in KL. Let us live vicariously through your stomach!!

I so want to travel back to Malaysia to eat at my favourite hawkers stalls.... and I guess visit family. 😅

Walk through customs like you own the place.

@El Presidente like a boss, strolled straight through.Red Chamber tomorrow raiding my friends keep lol

Thankfully taking 1 night pitstop in KL (unloading cigars and luggage with family) before a few days in Singapore where I definitely would be bricking it taking stuff through.

When I had a condo in KL, the kitchen (both indoor and outdoor) was just for show. I never once cooked a meal there in the 10 years I owned that property.

I wonder why Kopi hasn't caught fire in the coffee world?

Starbucks is putting olive oil into coffee drinks, but something as generally tasty as Kopi is not served beyond Malaysia or Singapore...

I can get kopi at Malaysian cafes here in Sydney. Still pretty scarce, though.

Would love it if more cafes just kept a brewed pot out in the kitchen.

The question is more of why Starbucks or Dunkin hasn't ever offered Kopi styled beverage?  They don't have to do the "show" while preparing it, but something that tastes the same would be heralded in many markets globally.

They can't do it. Otherwise they'd ruin their reputation for serving crappy American style coffee. :P
