torsion Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 I'm passing through HK for a few nights onwards to Kuala Lumpur for a family wedding. Will have cigars with me to pass to friends in KL. Any opine on entering HK with these?Quantity between 20-30. Will be travelling as a family unit. Photos to catch your attention Sent from my Pixel 6a using Tapatalk 2
KavalanWhisky Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Agree, you'll be very unlucky to be stopped as normally the customs are pretty relaxed on searches. If you are really worried split the cigars between the family members as technically the allowance is 1 cigar but as Chucko8 mentioned you'll be fine. We regularly travel back and forth with 20+ in luggage 1
Fuzz Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Go hog wild on the hawker food while in KL. Let us live vicariously through your stomach!! I so want to travel back to Malaysia to eat at my favourite hawkers stalls.... and I guess visit family. 😅 2
El Presidente Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Walk through customs like you own the place. 1

Starbucks is putting olive oil into coffee drinks, but something as generally tasty as Kopi is not served beyond Malaysia or Singapore...

Still pretty scarce, though. Would love it if more cafes just kept a brewed pot out in the kitchen.

They don't have to do the "show" while preparing it, but something that tastes the same would be heralded in many markets globally.

Otherwise they'd ruin their reputation for serving crappy American style coffee. 2
