Hi Everybody,

Had a good friend (M 29) move last week from Central US to Seoul, South Korea for work for 1-2 years.

Looking for any recommendations from this incredible group that I can pass on to him.

If you have anything from a cigar lounge to a golf range or restaurant, let me know!

Much appreciated!

There are quite large number of cigar lounges including Pierre (one of the only few official HSA B&Ms in my country) in Seoul nowadays, but their storage condition (most of them keep cigars in 70% RH+ humidity) and pricing are far from ideal. Also, it's really difficult to find cigar friendly zones aside from cigar lounges due to its strict anti tobacco regulation, hence cigar B&Ms allow BYOC (Bring your own cigars) are probably the best bet in Korea.

For BYOC cigar lounges in Seoul, their BYOC policy differs from BYOC cigar B&Ms to BYOC cigar B&Ms (some of them like Led Zeppelin have BYOC fees, while others like TARA allow you to puff your own cigars for free), however I can say you'll enjoy either De La Mano or Led Zeppelin with a huge confidence as they're one of the best BYOC cigar lounge exeperiences I've ever had. I posted a map of BYOC Korean cigar lounges (work in progress) on FOH a long time ago and feel free to use it without hesitation 🙂.

Love it! Thanks for putting that together for people to use.

Any restaurants, coffee shops, or bars you would recommend?

No problem buddy! There are many restaurants, coffee shops, and bars in Seoul, but in my area restaurants such as Aune; Bokmyunok; Greasy House; Grill 210 and Downtowner; Pizzeria Lago; Jinjia; Sushi IAN are worth to visit if you have a time (can't tell much about coffee shops since I'm a tea person). It has some interesting bars like Lionheart too, but sadly most of them are non cigar friendly zones.

Sure thing @mnsmokes! I hope that the info I posted on FOH will be helpful to your buddy when he's in Korea 🙂. I'm sure he'll enjoy Korean BYOC cigar lounges too 👍
