compelling evidence as to why nsw simply do not understand origin

many among you will be aware that the glorious Queensland maroons, against longer odds than faced by custer, came from nowhere to claim one of the truly great wins against the forces of darkness. this included queensland copping one of the most egregious sin bins of all time (apparently the authorities now think that a Queensland player tackling one of their precious stars is worth a sin bin). so a man down, well behind in the score, only moments left, both wingers off injured and one of our forwards down with a dislocated shoulder, we have come from the heavens. a memorable win. 

lots of stuff in the southern presses tearing themselves to pieces. it was bad selections, poor coaching, bad luck, the weather, you name it. anything but the players.

their coach, freddy the class clown, has now been in charge of nsw for 16 games. for every single one of those games, nsw has gone in favourite. every one. and yet the record is 8-8. 

now a rule implemented recently to combat head injuries is that if a player receives a category one head head knock, as ruled by the independent doctors at the game, it is mandatory that the player shall not take the field for 11 days minimum. no exceptions we were assured. none! 

well then along comes nsw centre tom turbo who is judged to have copped a category one head knock. this will rule him out of all games until the next state of origin depriving him of the chance to get some well needed practice in, with the game the week before. 

well colour me shocked but apparently the nsw authorities have just found a loophole. actually, they just made it up. in a decision that has shocked no one, despite assuring all that the player's welfare comes first, turbo will be allowed to play the game before origin, despite it being within the 11 days compulsory stand-down period. but this is a one-off and will never happen again. unless it benefits nsw. 

the perfidiousness and shameful behaviour of those south of the border will never end. 

what they do not understand is that this blatant cheating will do nothing other than piss Queensland off even more and bring the team even closer, making them even more determined to see justice done. 

go those glorious Queensanders!!
