Oh to have a time machine. I would take my cigar paraphernalia and some fishing tackle and my charm and good looks. I'd be unstoppable!

Prices in Spanish Pesos?

Yes, most likely. So I'll revise...

technically the Spanish peseta, in the early 20th century the peseta was effectively pegged to the French franc. The franc was pegged to .29 oz gold in 1873. By 1926 the value had dropped by about 87%. That would result in a franc/peseta being worth .037 oz gold in 1925-26 which is worth ~$2.24 today. So the prices are fairly comparable to 2021 prices ($3-9 per cigar)
