Popular Post Wailbait Posted December 20, 2022 Popular Post Posted December 20, 2022 Well this isn’t so much of a “review” cigar as it is “victory” cigar as I just got a lovely Aristocrat and finished migrating everything. The cigar itself is a wonderful example in its prime. Definitely sweeter than most of the Partagas that I have but with a wonderful earthy and fruity finish. I paired it with an Elijah Craig 12 year that’s just fantastic. Lately I’ve had some really good luck with my smaller sticks from the 13-15 period. PLPC, Monte 4, these and the Principe. I just find that they used excellent tobacco and are strong when young so the 8-9 year mark really puts all the flavors together! I didn’t have a lot of time to celebrate the cigar migration before dinner, but I’ll take a pic of that Aristocrat. Boy it’s pretty! 8
RDB Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 There’s no need to spend $$$ on a big fat cigar, if what you want is a delicious smoke. Aged Shorts, Perlas, Principes and plenty of other minutos and PCs are where the value is. 3
Wailbait Posted December 20, 2022 Author Posted December 20, 2022 COMPLETELY agree as this is where the bulk of my collection lay anyway. I honestly do like the corona size the best but aside from some random Monte 3 and old Quays, don’t have many so the PC format suits me fine. Plpc, m4, Upmann pc and sancho non plus is 70% of my game. 1

I have had mine for 20 yrs and love it. 1
