SP does larger RGs well. I'd love to see a Hermosos No. 2/3 or Gorditos in regular production. It'll be interesting to see what they do with the Laguito No. 1 El Rey.

I'd definitely recommend that those who are able pick up a box of these.  I've only smoked one, but it made quite an impression on me due to its flavor profile of chocolate, wood, salty bread, and aromatic spice.  For those who criticize Habanos S.A. for blending current production cigars too similarly across marcas, this cigar may be a welcome and refreshing addition.

With 15,000 boxes being released, hopefully they remain relatively available in the near future.

Yep, I wouldn’t exactly call it “on a roll” with the Beli nowhere to be seen...

I saw more boxes in Oct than I did in June in Cuba so they are making them. Most shops had at least a few boxes. I'm surprised they're so scarce right now.

The only problem with SP Beli is how wonky they can be fresh. I don't have the discipline to buy new production in Cuba. Until Oct finding a box with 3+ years on it was never a problem there. They never really flew off the shelf. Believe it or not the same was true for Siglo I, II & III. Finding 5+ year old boxes of those in Cuba was normal until this year.

We have at best a 14-21 day forward window.

SP Beli are currently not in that window.

That sounds like my motto for dating.  I'm happy if she shows up. 😆
