best news since last century.

dan snyder has engaged the bank of america to explore selling the commodes. allow me to apologise - i have been wrong all these years. apparently there really is a god.

could it possibly be true?

the slimy little grub will walk away with a profit of around US$5 to 6 billion but i can live with that if he goes. needless to say, commodes forums have gone nuts with joy and happiness. if this is a hoax, it is the cruelest ever.

This is great news. I'm surprised he was even allowed to be an owner considering a massive a-🕳️ He was known to be. Maybe you'll get someone that actually cares about the team.

I hope for you and the other Commodore fans that it's legit news.

Not that Bears ownership is under the same pressure as Snyder, but I sure wish Grandma Bear would sell the Bears as well.  I think it's the only way the franchise can modernize instead of constantly focusing on how to monetize in the short term.  The land that the Bears team has under contract for its unlikely new stadium (my beloved Arlington Park) is phenomenal with potential for an amazing facility and surrounding entertainment center, but the owners are too cheap to understand that a large investment in the fan experience will pay them huge future dividends. I'm afraid that if they move forward with a new stadium, they will find yet another way to disappoint us.

When Virginia McCaskey who is near 100 there is a succession plan in place for other family members to take over. Unless they share the vision as described above which Ive seen the plans and would be phenomenal they will be stuck paying the lease to Chicago Parks to lease Soldier Field

If the last name of the family was still Halas, I believe there'd be a better vision of the future.  McCaskeys only have ever had a vision of today's income and not tomorrow's potential.  I will be more shocked if the Bears actually move forward and build the new facility than I would be if they remain at Soldier Field.  Even if they build the new stadium, there's no way I count on them making it a state of the art destination site like they should.  RIP Papa Bear
