Just getting acclimated to my new surroundings. Decided to take a stroll thru my new hometown before heading to the local cigar lounge for a smoke. This place was Mayberry 50 years ago!!! It still has an Ice Cream parlor! I am holding these remaining PDC's closer to the vest these days, as I only have 3 left from the top row and won't try the bottom 'til 2025! I finally get what @Elpresidente refers to as Guinness. I call it malt but Guinness is probably more apt. Some light almond and nutmeg, barely cocoa thru the 1st half. The 2nd half builds the underlying malt (Stout) and nutmeg with hints of cocoa/coffee/toffee. Nice almond lilts in and out.

Strangely, I think these are going through the period between really good and legend! Not as pronounced as the last I had 6 months ago. Refining stage?

I am going to miss living on the beach, but this is likely more suited to my eventual retirement...
