Popular Post Ford2112 Posted October 9, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 9, 2022 Romeo Y Julieta has been a marque that is slowly winning me over lately. This has been resting in my humidor for quite some time and I believe has 3 years of age on it though I could be wrong. The wrapper had a nice oily sheen to it and the aroma at cold was sweet, floral, and stone fruit. Draw was perfect. 1st third opened up with sweet fruit, like apricot ,leather, cream and sweet tobacco. Wow. Retrohale has some cool fruit elements and cream. Enjoyable! Good smoke output and just under medium bodied . Entering the 2nd third the cigar is picking up in intensity now. I'm tasting cherry, leather, coffee and cream, with some interesting floral note. About halfway through the 2nd I got a hit of cherry chocolate on the retrohale. Wow! Medium body and full flavor. Construction is perfect, burn razor sharp. Final third. I was listening to Black Sabbath Sign Of The Southern Cross and forgot to puff! The cigar almost went out so I had to touch it up. Full flavored stone fruit and leather, creamy and in your face. That cherry note comes and goes. Floral notes continue with lots of smoke output. These aren't my favorite size but just on the couple of these I've smoked I will be grabbing a box off 24:24 at some point. Rating 93/94 out of 100. Damn good smoke! 6 1
Nevrknow Posted October 10, 2022 Posted October 10, 2022 I have to agree by proxy. My SIL loves these along with Upmann HC’s. I need him to join and write a review sometime. He talks about them the way most reviews are written. I say nothing, just sit back and take it all in. 👍🏻 1
