Popular Post cigaraholic Posted August 13, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 13, 2022 Sometimes the English can be too damm friendly, they don’t have to make me feel right at home with 93 degrees. No matter how many cigars I have, when I’m in London I can’t help going to St James St for some eye candy and a smoke. Hit all 4 stores, remembered Rob mentioning C Gars and that you could have a drink there too. I had a great time with Dante and his staff talking about the Cuban cigar world, or what’s left of it, plus a couple of lovely gentleman from Spain. Nice comfortable couch, nice sprits by the dram and a RA Superiores from 18. Popped down to Havana Cigar Exchange, another beautiful place you can smoke and drink at for some PL Galanes, to put a little money in the British economy, they were the only shop that had any. Stock is quite low, a joke compared to when I was here 5 years ago. Lots of Trinidad, wonder why👻. Of course you can drink at JJ’s but it’s BYOB🤫 The beautiful aroma just getting close to the door of C Gars put a big smile on my face 🌈 14 1
SigmundChurchill Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Mitch, the owner, seems like a great guy. I have never met him in person, but I have been a long time customer since back in the day when he used to ship to the US, and have visited his other shops in England since then. This shop is new, and I have been looking forward to seeing it for the first time on my next trip to London, whenever that may be. Glad to see you had such a positive experience.
SCgarman Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Isn't C Gars the company that auctioned off all the high dollar pre embargo collector cigars?
