I like the window. First time I've seen this and it's a great addition, allowing the buyer to see that they really are Cohibas and that it's not just a fancy box with any ol' cigar thrown in there.

Yes, clearly the thought was the glass top was a little too revealing. Too... gratuitous. Putting it all out there. Real Cohiba wouldn't do that. Real Cohiba has some mystery. Real Cohiba doesn't need to give it up on the first date. Show a little ankle and that's it.
