Maybe the Australians have it right, and the others sound differently because of the corn cobs they carry inserted between their back folds??

I used to be a professional drinker, so much so I got to the point I never slurred when I drank.  That's when everyone around me knew I needed to quit altogether   It's taken me just a few years to agree with them, but damn they were definitely correct.

I've never enjoyed the ivory tower types much to be honest.

pretty much my immediate thought. some tosser desperate for attention. reminds me of the imbecile who wrote a book on why tendulkar was better than bradman, just to make a splash. got lots of press and his 15 minutes and then sunk without a trace. like so many others. 

the only thing i disagree with is that he can't get a job in the private sector. he does not want a job in the private sector. last thing he wants (mind you, he would not get one, anyway). it would mean he would have to work and might actually be expected to do something. then he really would know about unemployment.
