I had a great cackle. Good bloke well intentioned and he genuinely made me laugh.

“ Given Habanos s.a. is unresponsive to my e-mails, would you be able to contact the Chinese 50% partners and request an update on what is going on with supply? Maybe even an understanding of a “recovery strategy”. I know the Habanos Community around the world would be appreciative of some concrete news”

When you send the email, can you ask them to undo the last several price increases, and freeze prices for the next, oh, decade while they're at it? I'm sure if you ask nicely enough you can persuade them!
