Popular Post LLC Posted February 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 2, 2022 I’ll be honest, I didn’t watch the clip but I can only assume it can kill you. 6
Chas.Alpha Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 It’s scales secrete a poison that is fatal if you so much as look at it... 😳 1
Ken Gargett Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 there was a good article on this very fish about a week ago (have not had time to watch the vid just yet but will) in another publication - someone's marketing budget must have come through. in an american publication somewhere. they are well known and not that uncommon in Queensland, though you very rarely see them - there were even unverified reports of lungfish in the creek i used to live next to in Brizzy. harmless. amazing fish. some say the missing link. quite primitive. the aquarium with the one in the video apparently has two others (apols if this is covered) which are younger - the small one is called Small and the in between one is called Medium. possibly not the most innovative names (might have been the same PR firm behind them as came up with washington commanders). 3
El Presidente Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 You can literally see 20+ lungfish if fishing Wivenhoe dam for the day (near Brisbane). Some big fish at well over a metre.
riderpride Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 Similar to the snakeheads migrating through the states? Those bad boys have been known to live for a few days on land and eat small dogs. Shout-out to the great Jeremy Wade's River Monsters for that nugget. 1
Bill Hayes Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 Should of name it Kevin after Costner in Waterworld. 😁
