Mhansen85 Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 Geniales 54 X 5 7/8” Strong start with oaky and earthy tones, some undergrowth, oregano and herbal character as well as some clove spice. It feels medium creamy with a bit rough edge hinting that it is a fairly Young cigar. End of 1/3. flavors transition more fully into herbal and mineral type, salty with a bit of plum fruit. This is an interesting flavor profile that i cant say i have experienced often. Pretty Unique to me Tobacco quality seems good but not great. Retrohale brings some needed Cream and ceder notes Burn a bit wonky. Draw is fine Medium+ body from the start and still is. Just after the halfway mark, flavors suddenly are quite muted. There is moastly just toasted Tobacco now with a slight herbaceous note. Very strange. Lets see if it stays it will be quite disaapointing if it does. Not a lot of info is available about this cigar, especially if you dont speak arabic so im in the dark here in terms of how other people generally have rated it. Also seems like one not very available outside of the middle East which is why i was intrigued to try it 3/3 not much change, toasted Tobacco and charred oak. Not very good. Not gonna nub it. Difficult to rate it, its basically half a cigar. Start and 1/3 is quite good at 90points but then it dies . Guess maybe 84-85 points total. Dont worry about not being able to find this one 4
Edicion Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 One of the best regionals for me - would love to pick up some more. 2

Just goes to show we have different tastes, or i might have gotten a bad one 1
ElJavi76 Posted January 13, 2022 Posted January 13, 2022 Same as @Edicion for me… these have been up there with the Diputados by Dip as well, those were for the Belux region. I get great custardy flavors out of this. Nothing muted or muddled for me. Only gripe is they’re out there at a few vendors but the price has exploded, like everything else I suppose. 3

My LCDH has both I friggin love the Diputados. I have 7 boxes of it and dwindling. Very mild smoke but very creamy flavors. Almost a dessert cigar, like many other Dips. Almond tart comes to mind. If you have access to singles grab 2. Smoke them a few weeks apart then when you’re done see how many boxes your LCdH has and PM me to tell me what they cost and if you can send me any. 😂😂😂 jokes aside you should enjoy those. 1
Mhansen85 Posted January 13, 2022 Author Posted January 13, 2022 beautiful, thanks i will try them. i love aged dip 2's, i am loving my 04 box
Popular Post JohnS Posted January 13, 2022 Popular Post Posted January 13, 2022 Phoenician Regionals tend to have a good reputation. As for the Nortenos...the last Canadian Regional Edition (possibly?). I don't mind them either! 6

I was glad to stock up on Ammunition in Dubai a couple years back - they were great cigars. I will revisit to see if they have held up, been over a year since my last one. Their adverts at the time, on the other hand....LOL 5
havanaclub Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 Love the dip regionals. Ammunition for my edges out the diputados. Mind you my first 2-3 diputados had burn issues and maybe too young. My last one was . Always love the nortenos and try to only smoke one on Canada day at the cottage. A few boxes should last a while. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3
