Stan ( great mate and legendary travel agent!) has been on my back to help arrange a group motorcycle tour of Cuba.

Rough guide for a three week tour. Bikes and maybe a bus (for the sane )

Three weeks is a long time but it is one hell of a trip and if Covid has taught us anything it is not to take travel for granted!

Day 1: Arrive Havana 

Day 2: Havana

Day 3: Havana

Day 4: Vinales

Day 5: Vinales

Day 6: Playa Larga

Day 7. Plata Larga

Day 8: Trinidad

Day 9: Trinidad

Day 10: Cayo Santa Maria

Day 11: Camaguey

Day 12: Holguin

Day 13: Baracoa

Day 14: Baracoa/Santiago

Day 15: Santiago

Day 16: Santiago

Day 17: Plane or train option back to Havana 

Day 18: Havana

Day 19: Havana 

Day 20: Havana

Day 21: Fly Home. 

 

Any obvious itinerary flaws?

I was thinking Day 2... mid-afternoon Day 2. Day 6 sounds a bit ambitious.

Same here - after 2 bike accidents ( a cracked rib in Bali and a torn knee in Thailand ) I much prefer to be in the a/c Mini Van taking care of the rum and cigar stock ... 🙂

Did it 10 years ago with 2 Cuban friends a a S'pore buddy and it was tough enough even in the Mini Van.
