CoRo MOL JUL 19 (BCCRW)

Snagged this out of a 15 pack I bought last year.  I find the CoRo to be hit and miss.  Mostly hit.   This one was the CoRo that keeps you coming back -- well, maybe not at the current prices, which are obscene.  

Good construction, heft, and wrapper.  A Friday night "leave dad the hell alone so he can chill" smoke.  

1/3 sweet cream, mild hay, lemon grass. Very clean.  Classic Cohiba.  

2/3 the sweet spot.  A bit of coffee and light nuttiness creeps in.  Perfect .

3/3 flavors held together to the nubby end.  Pleasant nicotine build took it across the finish line.  

One of those magic CoRos that I figure represent about 15% of most any box.  This one gets an  A+.

Nice review.
The CoRo was my favorite Cohiba, but partly due to price, its been surpassed by the Siglo II and Coronas Especial that I just recently discovered and have 10 from a box split coming.

Still love the CoRo though.

Taking my last one to Yellowstone with me, along with a Siglo II and Coronas Especial.

I used to be on the fence about CoRo (I struggled with their QPR), but not anymore.  They are perfect for me about 90% of the time & I reach for them weekly.  My 18s are smoking lights out.

I always try to hands off some boxes to see what they're like 5+, but its hard.

Would love to have enough to smoke one weekly. Due to current pricing, i have to get just a few singles only.

My last one, a 2019 I believe, was a real dud. Just flavorless. Was very disappointing.

Hoping this second one from the order is up to their usual taste and quality.

If you can source El Laguito examples (UAO/MAR), they're virtually always perfect.

Other factories are hit/miss, but my 18s are RAG/TPO and both are really, really good.
