Any FOHer’s in Omaha Nebraska?

I’m about to board a flight and will be in Omaha until Thursday for work. Are there any FOHer’s out there who would like to meet up for a smoke one night??

Head to Copacabana or Havana Garage.  Both great places to smoke.  I don't live there and am not in town on business or I would meet you.

We went to Havana Garage on Tuesday night.  Cool spot with a great bar selection.  Their selection of sticks was slightly lacking and I had smoked all the ones I brought for the day, earlier that day, but they did have a few things I hadn't tried NC wise which I thoroughly enjoyed.  Also ended up checking out their sister store across the street which had a much larger walk-in humi.

Havana Garage is associated with the tobacconist right around the corner from them (sounds like you found them on your trip).  I learned this the hard way myself after a few disappointing trips to HG’s humidor.  They usually have several TAA releases to try and their house cigar is an above average NC cigar.

Yes, SG Roi was the place. At HG, the walk-in humidor downstairs is non existent anymore.  You’re correct on their TAA selection though.  Didn’t see and house sticks, but I’d say 20 boxes of random stuff at the most, were within the humidor case that now sits on the main level.  
 

we ended up spending several hours at the bar there smoking, drinking and talking to the bartender.  After he got the idea that my buddy and I were not a couple “occasional smokers” and appreciated his banter, the guy mentioned their sister place, SGRoi.  Way better selection, although I think some of their climate control in the walk-in was a tad suspect (but not terrible).  Would recommend both places for sure.

You nailed it on the humidification being suspect. I had the same complaint. The bar had a pretty good whiskey/bourbon/scotch selection.  Maybe our paths will cross on one of your future excursions.

Unfortunately, I doubt I’ll be back there since this was a once a year event and changes venues each year. Hopefully our paths DO cross at some point down the road 👍🏽
