Hello everyone!

A friend of mine bought a box of montecristo Dantes in 2017. They have been sealed until now. When he opened the box, this is what the cigars looked like: Screenshot_20210702-165856_WhatsApp.jpg.170d0bf87879d4ec6f7bcf78d4b03ac4.jpg

They are bought from a famous, trusted seller in Sweden. The box was perfectly sealed. All codes attached etc.

They taste great too! Have you ever seen this before?

Thanks

If that what you write is accurate ( famous, trusted seller and sealed box ) I see no problem except for theCuban QC side ... happens.

Yes. I see this a lot more than I think I should. Seems like they were over glued or somehow the bands stuck to the box or the divider.

Based on that pic alone, I wouldn't conclude fake.

If your vendor is trusted and they smoke as they should there's nothing to worry about.

When I see an absolutely perfectly aligned band, and it comes off easily without tearing the wrapper leaf....that's when I wonder if I have a fake.
