About 7 weeks ago, I prepared a cigar for transportation for after dinner out, but never got to it, nor did I return it to the humidor. This was kept in a very tightly sealed metal tube and forgotten. Absurd!

The smell is rich tobacco, overtones of mocha and caramel. The feel is soft, silken wrapper, slightly plush, with no hint of dryness. Cold draw is barnyard+

Sweet hit to begin, and circumstances force me to set this down for 6 hours until after lunch. Doubly and unexpectedly absurd! Roughly 50% humidity at 95f when I manage to get back to it

I feel the serial abuse has done a number here. The burn is wonky and all I'm getting is toasted tobacco. I suffer for a full inch of ash to fall, and am rewarded with some sweet cake and roasted nuts, with a touch of twang. The cake flavor ratchets up quickly and neatly into a full blown caramel treat!

At 95f and a heat index of 106, I can barely finish this before going inside

10/11 believe the hype

I'm going to put another of the same box into the tube and come back in 6-8 weeks....

OK--you convinced me to crack open my 2018 cab--when it is July and we get one of those rare days here with 95f with a heat index of 106.

I have a box of these that I regularly go to during extreme heat and humidity highs. Or I wet box them. Maybe they like to be off balance or slightly abused. Would be interesting to know if this is a ROTT high performer too.

So I did this and then life happened. 9 months in a tube turned this into a caramel laced treat from the 1st puff.

I'm just going to enjoy this and wait for 2424
