Hoyo de Monterrey Epi 2 UBM Jul 19(MM&SRW)*

My overall #1 favourite cigar, which first turned me on to cubans, and which I was thankful to just score a 1 + 1/4 box of this evening on 24:24 (finally beat the rush!!). Epi 2 was as always: mild, smooth, cedar, cream, vanilla, cocoa, clove, and maybe slight nutmeg at back end. These are two years in and are developing nicely. Will they age well?

Drink was a gin and tonic, prepared while setting up chili in the crockpot overnight. I BBQ the meat and onions (no ground beef thank you). The flavours of the g&t paired with the Epi2 very well. They are distinct and complimentary imho.

Epi2 is one of my favorites too.  As well as the Epicure Especial.

But yowza!  I would love to have a bowl (or 4) of that chili!

Same here. Its a staple in my supply.
Just ordered a couple more #2's this morning in fact, and already have a few Especials in stock.

The entire Epicure line is great in my opinion
