Hey all, I wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I am a middle aged man who has many books, few of which I read. I have smoked stogies off and on for years but recently have really begun to enjoy the subtleties/flavors/aura of cigars. I am into mild and moderate bodied cigars with a preference for cocoa, cappuccino, vanilla, caramel, and smooth cream. Yes, and I am not ashamed, I’m on the newbie page right? I am on my quest for the ultimate cigar that fits my palate but is also affordable so my wife doesn’t murder me, and secondly for one I can share with beloved friends who don’t smoke often. Beauty is in the gustatory receptors of the beholder. Live mostly in the US but am out and about seeing the world. Well, cheers and good smoking to all!

Favorite cigars so far:

1. Favorite Cheapskate: La Aroma de Cuba Especial

2. Other less cheap favs: Cohiba Exquisito, Torano Exodus 1959

3. Expensive: None yet, probably will never spend more than $30 on a cigar.

Lastly, I will say that I see Cigars like women, poetry, jewelry, wine, cheese, and whiskey. Yes there are standards, but in our diversity, we all appreciate different things on different levels and each cigar smoked should come with an attempt to appreciate it for what it is in flavor, experience, nostalgia, and for the time and passion people producers have put into it. We can learn from each other and guide, but how cool would it be if you’re favorite cigar is cheap?

Welcome to FOH. Enjoy all those characters you mentioned, just keep cheesy women to a minimum. 😳😂👍
