Anyone had the LFdC 2018 Exclusivo Paises Bajos Robusto?

I just recently bought one, but its still resting and acclimating for my typical month.

Was expecting the Espana ER, but was surprised and got this one instead.

Not really a lot of info on them, and I trust reviews by people here more than on dedicated cigar review sites.

I got a box of these along with the Magicos last year. First few I had were very blah. Stronger than the Magicos. Tasted nothing alike. Tasted like a generic CC. Nothing bad, just no character.

Tried another after a year. Huge improvement. Sweet fruity notes starting to appear. I would say rest these as long as possible. Might take 7-10 years to hit their stride.

Thanks for the info.
Little sad to hear it needs so much time, but that's part of the game with cc's

I really enjoy these. The value ratio is very high for my palette/wallet; after I had one I got 2 boxes. The last one I had gave me a bit of sweet woody barbecue that I really enjoyed. Thinking about that Espana ER too but I worry I may be buying another similar box

How much age did you have on them?
I've gotten responses elsewhere saying they need 5yrs or more.

I was actually expecting the Espana when I bought this in a private purchase. He just listed it as LFdC ER, and I wasn't even aware of these and expected the Espana.
Certainly not complaining though as I'm just starting to dip my toe into the ER and EL realm.

I have some LGC Espana on the way which I have heard pretty good reviews on, but the LFdC Espana is often mentioned as being the better of the 2

I had my first one last spring I would say, few more over last summer and then another just a month or 2 ago. ‘Needing’ 5 yrs is probably subjective to personal taste. They are good now, likely to improve with time, but thats not going to stop me. I dont find them overly complex where I’d be looking to track how they evolve over 10 yrs.
